Iraldes “Vennie” Abreu
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 12 years of experience supporting individuals through some of life’s most difficult challenges. As a U.S. Navy veteran, I bring a deep understanding of the unique stressors experienced by service members, veterans, and their families. My work is dedicated to helping clients navigate PTSD, trauma, and the emotional impact of major life events with compassion and expertise.
I specialize in trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, and client-centered therapeutic approaches tailored to each person’s needs. My background includes extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, addiction, and significant life transitions. As a bilingual clinician, I am committed to providing accessible and culturally sensitive care to both English- and Spanish-speaking clients.
My therapeutic style is grounded in empathy, empowerment, and collaboration. I integrate evidence-based modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness practices, and trauma-focused interventions—to help clients build resilience and create meaningful, lasting change.
My goal is to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and understood. Whether you’re working through trauma, navigating recovery, or striving for greater clarity and balance, I’m here to walk alongside you. You don’t have to face these challenges alone—together, we will build the tools you need to heal, grow, and thrive.
