At MindSpa Psychiatry & Therapy, we offer the TOVA® (Test of Variables of Attention), a computer-based attention assessment that can be completed in approximately 22 minutes. It provides objective, data-driven insight into attention patterns to support a comprehensive ADHD evaluation.
The Test of Variables of Attention (TOVA®) is an FDA-cleared, computer-based test that measures your ability to focus and manage distraction. Rather than assessing right or wrong answers, the TOVA® reveals individual attention patterns that help our providers develop personalized care plans.
During the test, you will respond to simple visual or auditory computer cues. The assessment measures your attention, consistency, and impulse control over time. Your results are then compared against age-based normative standards to provide meaningful, individualized data for your provider.
Your provider conducts a clinical evaluation to determine whether TOVA® testing is appropriate for your situation.
Complete the ~22-minute TOVA® assessment at our Boynton Beach office. The test is straightforward and non-invasive.
A follow-up appointment (available via telemedicine) reviews your results and guides your personalized next steps, which may include therapy, skills training, or medication management.
