As a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern in Florida with a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC), I bring nearly 10 years of experience supporting individuals and families through a wide range of mental health and behavioral health challenges. My background spans inpatient and outpatient care, community mental health, residential treatment, youth services, and correctional settings.
I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, co-occurring mental health concerns, family challenges, and major life transitions. As a U.S. Army Veteran, I have a particular interest in working with fellow veterans and individuals navigating trauma or difficult life experiences. I understand that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves and speaking openly without fear of judgment.
My therapeutic approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Somatic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and solution-focused techniques. I tailor my approach to each individual's needs, experiences, and goals, recognizing that meaningful progress looks different for everyone.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, navigate life's challenges, and build the confidence to create meaningful, lasting change.
