About Fedine Nicolas

Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Florida

Fedine Nicolas, PMHNP-BC

Fedine Nicolas is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who believes that seeking help for your mental health should feel comfortable, supportive, and free of judgment. She understands that reaching out for care can sometimes feel overwhelming, and she strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, understood, and genuinely supported.

Fedine works with adults throughout Florida experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, insomnia, stress, trauma-related symptoms, substance use and addiction concerns, and other emotional or behavioral challenges. Whether someone is struggling with racing thoughts, difficulty focusing, low motivation, changes in mood, sleep problems, overwhelming stress, or challenges related to substance use, Fedine takes the time to understand the full picture—not just the symptoms.

Her approach to treatment is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. She believes patients should be active participants in their care and takes time to explain treatment options, answer questions, and develop a plan that feels realistic for each person's life. Through thoughtful medication management, education, and supportive conversations, she works alongside her patients toward greater stability, confidence, and overall well-being.

Fedine earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and brings more than seven years of nursing experience across hospital, rehabilitation, long-term care, and behavioral health settings. Her diverse clinical background has shaped her whole-person approach to psychiatric care and her understanding that mental health is closely connected to relationships, work, physical health, sleep, and everyday life.

Above all, Fedine wants her patients to know they don't have to navigate their mental health challenges alone. Her goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where patients can be open about what they're experiencing and feel supported as they work toward feeling more like themselves again.
