I earned my Master of Social Work from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. Throughout my career, I have developed extensive clinical experience supporting individuals navigating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, often referred to as dual diagnosis. I have also worked closely with survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, helping individuals process complex experiences and move toward healing, stability, and a greater sense of empowerment.
I specialize in working with adults who have experienced trauma, including survivors of narcissistic and emotional abuse, domestic violence, and other difficult or harmful relationship dynamics. I understand that these experiences can deeply impact a person's sense of self, relationships, and ability to feel safe and secure. My goal is to help clients process these experiences, reconnect with themselves, and develop healthier patterns moving forward.
My therapeutic approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and highly individualized. I incorporate evidence-based modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also integrate complementary therapeutic approaches and insights from current neuroscience research to create a treatment experience tailored to each client's unique needs, experiences, and goals.
Above all, I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I am passionate about helping individuals recognize and build upon their existing strengths, develop resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to help each client gain the insight, tools, and confidence needed to move forward and build a life that feels fulfilling, balanced, and authentic.
