Alyssa Masline
My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that meaningful change happens through a genuine, trusting therapeutic relationship. As a psychodynamic therapist, I pay close attention to how your past and present experiences shape the way you feel, think, and relate to others. I completed a fellowship in psychodynamic therapy at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute and bring this depth-oriented perspective into every session.
In our work together, I aim to create a warm and reflective space where you can safely explore what’s happening beneath the surface. I support people dealing with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions and adjustments, substance use concerns, and attachment-related patterns. I also work with adolescents beginning at age 12, helping them navigate the emotional and developmental challenges of adolescence with support and understanding.
My goal is to offer a compassionate, grounded, and non-judgmental environment that allows you to gain insight, deepen self-understanding, and move forward with clarity and resilience. Together, we work at a pace that feels comfortable and authentic to you, fostering lasting emotional growth and well-being.
